12 hours in Taipei

Yeah first stage completed: I survived a long 12 hours flight squeezed in a plane full of Chinese people...I arrived in Taipei! So what is the best thing to do after a long and exhausting flight ?
Right a City Tour and explore the whole Town! So at the airport I changed 20€ to Taiwanese dollars and I felt like a boss as they returned me 500 dollar bills :D let the tour begin...

So first I started the guided tour to an old temple. Where you could buy special "money" which will be available for you in the "sky" after your death. I just wonder what you can buy with it in "paradise" ?? But let’s continue.

Strange, but i think the Taiwanese people are in love with ceramic; everywhere in the city are ceramic pots and vases in every size you could imagine. So our next stop of the tour was… you can guess.
Yes, a ceramic museum, where they told you the whole story of ceramic from old historic pots and vases to latest high tech ceramic toilets. But HEY Free Wifi !!! so finally a great success

After that I went to a food market. The people were very nice and offered me a lot of different things to eat for free. Whatever I ate, I do not but it was very good. Finally I bought a warm noodle soup ( in Euro: 50cents )

To see the whole city I went to the Taipei 101, 508 Meter high tower. It was incredible ( see photos)

My impressions about Taipei: loud, strange music, different culture, interesting, grey during the day, beautiful at night and very cheap and good food!

PS: After 2 photos i had to make with some girls I believe that we as European people were like a sort of a sight for the Taiwanese so that during my whole trip i had to make photos with interested Taiwanese people :D mostly shy girls i felt like a Hollywood star :D

The beginning

So this is my first Blog and I don't have a fucking idea how to write one, but let's start! :D

first some things about me: I am a German/Spanish guy, 21 Years old who loves the adventure and get to know new experience. So after living 2 years in Spain i decided to get out of my comfort zone again and travel to Australia to follow my dream and start to explore the world. It really was a hard decision because i had to leave a lot behind me...

Ah and by the way if you haven't noticed my English is shit :D so i hope not to meet many Germans in Australia (Germans are everywhere; especially in Australia) to improve my English knowledge and maybe this blog in English helps me, too :P

So i took the plane from Frankfurt to Australia! but first stop in Taipei (Taiwan)...let the adventure begin :)

In this Blog i will regularly write about my experience.

PS: yeah the guy in the Photo left that's me... :D
